Not Medical or Legal Advice: The App does not provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. All information is for educational and informational purposes only. You should consult with qualified professionals, including medical billing advocates or attorneys, for advice specific to your situation.
Estimates Only: All savings calculations, error identifications, and financial figures displayed are estimates based on general industry data and the information you provide. Actual results may vary significantly.
No Guarantee of Savings: Identification of a potential billing error does not guarantee that you will receive a reduction or refund. Billing disputes are resolved between you and your healthcare provider or insurer.
Dispute Letters Are Templates: Dispute letters generated by the App are templates provided for your convenience. They do not constitute legal documents or legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing, customizing, and verifying all content before sending any correspondence.
AI Analysis Limitations: The AI-powered bill scanning feature provides automated analysis that may not catch all errors and may occasionally identify false positives. Always review results carefully and consult with a professional for significant billing disputes.
4. Medical Billing Information
The App references real medical billing concepts including CPT codes, the No Surprises Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and state-specific billing protections. While we strive to provide accurate and current information, laws and regulations change frequently. You are responsible for verifying that any legal references are current and applicable to your jurisdiction.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Overcharged offers subscription plans processed through Apple's App Store.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings
- Free trial periods convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends
- Refunds are handled by Apple per their policies
6. User Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy. Medical bill information you provide is stored locally on your device.
7. User Responsibilities
- You agree to provide accurate information about your medical bills
- You are responsible for reviewing all dispute letters before sending
- You are solely responsible for all communications with healthcare providers and insurers
- You agree not to use the App for fraudulent claims or disputes
- You understand that disputing legitimate charges could have consequences
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Zero Billion Apps and protected by intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zero Billion Apps shall not be liable for any damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages from billing disputes, rejected appeals, or actions taken based on the App's analysis or dispute letters.
